I remember when this song was out.  At the time my non-philosophical self
didn't think much of it, rather liked it in fact.  Today, decades later, I
think that if I were standing on a bridge ready to jump, this song would
push me over the edge.  It could not be more reflective of a world that is
both superficial and hate filled.  

Still searching for meaning and finding ever less of it,
