ck: I think your doctor friend was referring to healthcare for women with 
children who are under age 18. Yes, if they're very poor, they qualify for 
Medicaid/Medicare. Which is a great reason for poor women to keep having 
babies. Which keeps them from going back to school and earning more 
(ostensibly). Which is why Clinton pushed through that Welfare reform--which 
mandates that even women with children must go to work within 18 months of 
their last child's birth. Which is why women keep having more babies...

No accusations, believe me. I don't see why any 18 year-old mother of two 
would willingly work for $6/hr, sans benefits. That's the option, in most 
cases. I was working with the Welfare-to-Work program--a transitional 
program--last year. It's a hard one to sell, I'll tellya.

But were any of my clients Hispanic illegals? I wouldn't know. It's illegal 
to ask!
