There are some other takes but the above is the one I feel best about 
now.  There are also plenty of sites refuting these arguments, just like 
Bad Astronomy. Larry Acheson is one of the most vigorous opponents...a 
cassette tape is available to counter many of his accusations.  
Unfortunately, he has not been willing to publically debate the issue.

I recently attended a formal debate between two supporters of this 
Creation calendar and two men who observe Saturday Sabbath and work with 
the Karaites on moon observations and determining Abib.  Video tapes of 
the debate should be available.
