This morning on the east pond from the pumphouse there were 14 shorebird species. Highlights included 230 Long-billed Dowitchers, 40 Stilt Sandpipers, 25 Black-bellied and 5 Am. Golden Plovers, 5 White-rumped Sandpipers. etc. Sparrows were in evidence along the Auto Tour road. In fact, I finally had White-throats, Fox, White-cr and Juncos in my yard starting this past Sunday. That is the latest they have ever arrived in the yard since I moved here (18th year this fall). A strange fall migration in various ways! Daryl Tessen Appleton, WI #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
