Sounds wonderful, with one exception for the show to have WD & WB it also
needs a BOB, BOW<
& BOS as per AKC......are you planning on running the Specials twice
....once to get BOB BOW & BOS and a second time with three judges to get the
select placings

There are several people emailing me direct and say that it is a good idea
and that it would not be against AKC. .Hi Pam,
I have been promoting this idea in my little circle of friends for several
years, but no one really wants to change the system. The National may be an
AKC event, but GV, GVX, and Select are not AKC titles.
The solution is simple, end the AKC event on Sat. Sat. is for the GSDCA and
has no need to be AKC approved.
On Sat., permit only Specials (Pre-entered as now) and the winners dog and
bitch from the Friday AKC show to enter the GSDCA event on Sat. Awards and
titles remain the same.It sounds like this could work.

Pam...I agree with you 100%...It may however violate some kind of AKC
rule!...perhaps if this rule were in effect, you would have a select in your
