The processes are different, the film photographers use their own mind, the software alghorithms are thoughts from others and BTW burning the silver grains I have a reliable physical support for my image that I can use independent regarding software and hardware upgrades and protected from file format changes and BTW I can use that physical support as digital image too when I wish to do it. But you are putting me in a position where I don't wish to be, I don't reject the digital image as useful means for a lot of tasks, I only see the fact that film still keeps some advantages on the digital image and this is the reason it is well alive despite the called digital revolution.- All the best Carlos --- Robert Lilley <54moggie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> escribió: > The photographer manipulated the source of light > through lenses, shutters > and irises in order to selectively activate certain > silver halide crystals > didn't he?
