This is incorrect. Netscape uses Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine,
while Safari uses Apple's WebKit, based in turn on the KHTML
rendering engine from the KDE project. In my experience a page that
does not render correctly with either Firefox (for Mac) or Safari
nearly always renders correctly with the other.

Safari, I believe, uses the same engine as Netscape.
