Yes... I would definitely consider uninstalling it and removing every = single mention of Firefox and Mozilla! The bookmarks are extremely easy to back up. In Firefox, you go to = BOOKMARKS > MANAGE BOOKMARKS and then in the management screen you go to = FILE > EXPORT... and save the bookmarks.html file to your drive (save to = the desktop so its easy to find). Then, after you reinstall the whole = thing, you do the same thing except selecting IMPORT instead of EXPORT. But settings... what sort of settings are you trying to save? ---Troth -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of betty Sent: Tuesday, December 06, 2005 9:57 AM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: Firefox Revisited Nope...didn't work. I've tried opening it from various places, and it just won't open. No, wait, I have to qualify: I get a window with just the bare basics. But none of the icons or work, I can't put an address into the bar.....can't do one thing. Do you think I should uninstall all the Mozillas and Firefoxes that are floating all over the place? And if so, will I lose all my bookmarks, = and settings, etc? And if so, I would really nead detailed instructions. I'm thick.
