Or do you mean that many people like the benefits of digital cable enough that they are willing to put up with having the STB? Note: I'm not talking about a PVR or other recording device with integrated receiver in the description of what an STB is. It's easy for me to believe that people like a PVR (with integrated receiver) in their TV system. It's very hard for me to believe that people would prefer having the STB and separate monitor and recording device(s) connected to the STB.
