First, how is this deteremined? Is it manually configured (unlikely) or is it dynamically determined by the device, as IEEE 802.11 access points do? In the latter case, I think my scenario could easily unfold.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
