I know a few times when I've seen this, the only workaround we could come up with was to have the user copy the file to their local drive, make the changes, save the changes, then copy the file back to the network drive. I know that's a PITA, but I distinctly remember situations where this was the only way we could get it to work. Or, now that I think of it, I think creating a new folder on the network and moving all the files there also worked in some cases. That's about all I can remember....it's been a long time since I troubleshot Office on a network. But, Dian mentioned something about it being some permissions in the AV software that was preventing the changes to a network file. Did you check this? This is perplexing. Thanks for the article though. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=unsubscribe Or, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu.
