Hi Jacki....I don't believe there IS a way to change the default font size
for a text box...not in ANY version of PowerPoint, I don't think. You can
change the default font size for a text placeholder in the slide master, but
not a text box.

I could be wrong tho...and if I am, I would love to hear how this can be
done.

Subject: [mso] PPT 97 change text box size

Hi all:

I have PowerPoint 97 SR2 running on Windows NT 4 (yes, I know it's old,
but this is my work machine).

I know how to make changes to a master slide. But I can't figure out how
to change the default text size in a text box, as in on a blank slide
inserting a text box. The default is 24 for the text box, even though
the default for buletted lists, etc. has been changed (by me) to 12.

I hope my question makes sense.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Jacki
