Ah, perhaps I misunderstood, then.

Vic is correct in that you can do this on the Blank Presentation.POT (I
think it was called Blank.POT in PPT 97) to change the default font for
new
presentations.

For existing ones, this would have to be done on the presentation
itself.

You can also set this on the templates you use most often, but there's
no
way to do it globally in one automatic swoop.
