Elise,

We have had a similar problem but with a different error message. There is a
KB article from Microsoft that may at least relate to it:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;291070. So far I
have found no solutions.

In both cases - at our client and at our office here - the files in
question are being saved on a Small Business Server 2000 network, not on
the local hard drive.  We've been maniacally checking permissions though
and haven't found anything that would suggest that the permissions are
wrong though.
