Ah, that would explain "Waterway", "Highway" and, I suppose, "Motorway".
I always thought that it was a mistake when BR changed to "British Rail". It
was always perfectly clear what "British Railways" was about, but "British
Rail" could easily be the company that sold the stuff to hang your curtains
from! (Erm that might be "drapes" in the US, I'm not sure....)
