that i sometimes hope for the word notwithstanding
to be printed on social invitations
is a very clear sign
my spine is flawed in design
but taken by and large
notwithstanding as it were
i may be said to be fond of it
i believe it ought to remain whole
and kept beneath my skin
so i'm writing now to let you know i realize
despite the walloping at darts last night i gave
if it came to mano a mano
using aikido and the training we can anticipate at christmas on that
suckling pig
you could quickly rip it out
which would be unfortunate
