First thing to try and verify if it is your checkpoint file: Make copy of your checkpoint file. DBLBUG.UC DBLBUG.dave Then copy the resident backup checkpoint file BBLBUG.UC to DBLBUG.UC Try reboot If no reboot...then copy the DBLBUG.init to DBLBUG.UC Try reboot... If no reboot....then it's not your checkpoint file. (put DBLBUG.dave back) You may have 2 hosts that are inadvertently trying to boot the CP60 Check for CMXLBUG.BIN file for that CP60 on more than one host. Also run the utility /usr/fox/swi/ds_stasict LBUG to be sure the CP60 is pointing to all the correct image files and and checkpoint files. And of course the sum of the OS1C60 compared to other hosts that you may have on your system, to verify that the actual image is ok. There are more....but you can start there. -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Johnson Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 2005 9:19 AM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] CP60 will not boot Hello all, I attempted to reboot a CP60 yesterday (on purpose) and the CP will only come back to the red-green boot indication. I tried swapping another CP60 with the same letterbug in its place and had the same result. Everything was working prior to the reboot, ICC, FBMs, so the rack and cabling, seem good. I think I might have a corrupted boot file. Assuming I have a recent save-all, what is the best way to handle this.
