Iâm not 100% sure, but I think this might have something to do with
running FSX in full-screen. Also, thereâs an option to âpause on task
switch,â which you need to make sure is unchecked.

FSX Pilot can change radio frequencies for both radios, change the
transponder squawk code, and tune in the automatic direction finder
and VOR receiver. It wonât acknowledge instructions in any other
way, youâll have to do that using the keyboard.

It is useful because with things like regional flights, you donât
*need* ATC. Most times, the sighted pilots I see on streams use VFR
rules for the majority of, say, FSEconomy flights, etc.
Also, since Iâm trying to gravitate away from IYP, itâs also
useful in that regard. I want to fly more aircraft, and the fact
that IYP wonât ever be updated with more supported aircraftâ¦
reason enough right there to stop, or at least attempt, to stop
using it.
