Hi. I'm really enjoying using FSX pilot, I read the manual and it talked about
adding aircraft, does this mean that any aircraft could be supported for us
with FSX pilot. Is it accessible to add aircraft with the interface

Declan,
I’m not 100% sure, but I think this might have something to do with running
FSX in full-screen. Also, there’s an option to “pause on task switch,” which
you need to make sure is unchecked.
Best,
Zack.

Hi. When using FSX pilot, I obviously have two alt tab out of the main FSX
window to go to the FS panel and autopilot window. When I want to tab back
to Microsoft flight simulator though, I just hear a ding kind of like an
error message, I then have to alt tab round to it quite a few times until I
get back into the fsx window and it plays sound again properly. Is there a
reason for it not just going back into the window first time

Yeah, there is. It’s near the COM1 button, as I recall. It will already
have numbers in it.
Best,
Zack.

Hi, thanks. If I wanted to enter the frequency myself, is there a
frequency box which I can just tune the radio two on the autopilot panel

Declan,
FSX Pilot can change radio frequencies for both radios, change the
transponder squawk code, and tune in the automatic direction finder and
VOR receiver. It won’t acknowledge instructions in any other way, you’ll
have to do that using the keyboard.
Best,
Zack.

What kind of regional flights are you speaking about Josh? I am going
to assume that you are flying in 100% great weather because in the
real world, there are many factors that would go into consideration
whether or not a GA flight is VFR or IFR, and commercial flights are
all IFR.

It is useful because with things like regional flights, you don’t
*need* ATC. Most times, the sighted pilots I see on streams use VFR
rules for the majority of, say, FSEconomy flights, etc.
Also, since I’m trying to gravitate away from IYP, it’s also useful in
that regard. I want to fly more aircraft, and the fact that IYP won’t
ever be updated with more supported aircraft… reason enough right
there to stop, or at least attempt, to stop using it.

Good evening.
I have a recently downloaded the share ware version of Fsx pilot. But
to be honest, I can't really figure out what the advantage of the
program is. If I heard right, you don't even have air traffic control
coverage. So, what makes this program better as it's your plane? Or
in which situations is it useful?
