What kind of regional flights are you speaking about Josh? I am going to
assume that you are flying in 100% great weather because in the real world,
there are many factors that would go into consideration whether or not a GA
flight is VFR or IFR, and commercial flights are all IFR.

It is useful because with things like regional flights, you don’t *need*
ATC. Most times, the sighted pilots I see on streams use VFR rules for the
majority of, say, FSEconomy flights, etc.
Also, since I’m trying to gravitate away from IYP, it’s also useful in that
regard. I want to fly more aircraft, and the fact that IYP won’t ever be
updated with more supported aircraft… reason enough right there to stop, or
at least attempt, to stop using it.

Good evening.
I have a recently downloaded the share ware version of Fsx pilot. But to be
honest, I can't really figure out what the advantage of the program is. If
I heard right, you don't even have air traffic control coverage. So, what
makes this program better as it's your plane? Or in which situations is it
useful?
