You're missing the point. There's nothing anybody; including APH; can do to
make it say anything other than what it says now because it's in the
synthesizer and there's no way to change its pronunciation. Unless you first
run the entire book through a program to actually change the content of the
file, you're stuck with whatever the synthesizer chooses to say.

How would it be if it just said the letters? I think that would be less
annoying. On a scale of from 1 to 10 in annoyance levels, with 10 being
super annoyed, I would rate this as a 3, maybe. I love the BP, and I
wouldn't even think about letting this minor annoyance cause me to read
less than I do. I read a lot!
