I've put an improved experimental version of SoundCheck up at

I think I've now fixed a bug that caused an infinite loop on machines that
*don't* have the new SoundDMA! There should also be some presentational
improvements which I can't actually really check.
e.g. If your HDMI Audio device can support non-LPCM audio it should now
tell you the formats - AC-3, mp3, DTS, etc - the screen can accept.
As before I'd welcome feedback on what results you get, and any bugs the
program still has.
