The procedure is as follows:
1) Run !iMX6upg (only needs to be done once - the update is then
installed for the future - do *not* put this in !Boot).
2) Reboot computer to make the upgraded OS rom take effect
3) Computer behaviour should be exactly as before update
4) Do *readedid to read capabilities of screen
5) or simply run HDMIaudon file to do step 4 and enable HDMI
audio.
Only step 5 is needed once the computer has the new OS installed, so if
you like the results, *that's* what you'd put in !boot.
Once HDMIaudon is run, audio will be via the HDMI port, not the jackAfter an HDMIoff , the analogue output is off, and to re-enable it
plugs. You can actually switch back to the jack plus "as needed", but I
didn't produce the necessary obey file - I felt that a reboot was an
acceptable solution for now (either you want it via HDMI or you don't)
