I tried it earlier today. I may have done something wrong, but 
I couldn't get it to work here. The upgrade ran but ended with a 
comment like

good if cksum 0 = 1

...which looked me to to *not* be "good" given that 0 doesn't equal 1.

To make sure I did the upgrade a 2nd time, resulting in something like:
      " . . . result good if 1D = 1D"

Communicating with computers isn't always easy, but to me this seems a
reasonably true equation. Can't tell if "1D" was the right question, so
the answer is probably as questionable as your 0 = 1.

Anyway, cmy ARMX6 drops as dead as before when I issue a *HDMIOn command.

Trying to use the *ReadHDMI or hdmiaudOn then gave me

EDID Channel communication error.

Which seems to have confirmed this.

I've wondered if my current HDMI cable isn't fully populated as my old
ARMiniX behaved differently with it than with a previous cable. So I may
experiment with another cable.
