Did you run the hdmiaudiOn file? I think that's meant to switch the output
sound device from the mainboard to via HDMI. I wanted to experiment for
myself but...
I tried it earlier today. I may have done something wrong, but I couldn't
get it to work here. The upgrade ran but ended with a comment like
good if cksum 0 = 1
...which looked me to to *not* be "good" given that 0 doesn't equal 1.
Trying to use the *ReadHDMI or hdmiaudOn then gave me
EDID Channel communication error.
Which seems to have confirmed this.
I've wondered if my current HDMI cable isn't fully populated as my old
ARMiniX behaved differently with it than with a previous cable. So I may
experiment with another cable.
