I've just put an *experimental* version of my !SoundCheck program up at
http://jcgl.orpheusweb.co.uk/temp/SoundCheckExp.zip
This probes the HDMI Audio if it can detect it, and reports what it is able
to find. I've added this to the previous probings of the sound setup.
My current monitor only supports a few LPCM modes/rates so I can't check it
fully here. Hence I'd welcome feedback, particularly from use with monitors
that can accept non-LPCM input.
It prints results into a TaskWindow and at present shows a lot of
mysterious check-report values along with the kind of output a tidied up
version will show. i.e. presentation is a bit rough. But it should let the
user list the info on their HDMI Audio, etc. Note it is experimental.
