[TechAssist] Re: bad checks??

We had someone who "stopped" the check the day before they gave it to us and
then wanted to settle for half the amount. We filed it with a magistrate and
the customer insisted on a jury. Finally came to trial and the customer did
not show up. The jury awarded us the full amount and the customer did not
pay. We filed a lien and the customer came in and paid cash a couple of
months later.
