I had to physically throw out a couple of guys like this over the years.
Guess my buisness was going to good att he time to care. In fact buisness
was so good that it helped me have 3 heart attacks and 2 sets of 5 bypasses.
The last lady problem (which was so aggravating that it helped me right into
my last set of bypasses and the end of my buisness for health reasons) Was
bitching because she wanted a free estimate. I had given free estimates for
years but had finally gotten smart and charged for them. She said that I
advertised free estimates in the yellow pages. I said yes we used to--in
LAST YEARS yellow pages. (estimate fee signs posted everywhere in the shop)
AND that we NEVER advertised or have NEVER given free estimates on audio
equipment. She said she could do somethingg about this. 4 days later---a
letter from the BBB. This lady had gone straight back to work at the county
courthouse and wrote a letter on taxpayer time and faxed it from taxpayers
equipment. Called BBB--they agreed the lady was a bitch (literally) and I
forwarded a copy of the complaint and a brief letter asking her boss if this
was the way my tax dollars should be spent.

PS Up to that point I had recieved a BBB complaint for approx for every 2000
repairs. Not bad---huh
