YIKES!  Way out of my league.  I think the Media Player Classic 6.4 is the 
basic software and the real player and quicktime downloads are add-ins and 
the k-lite codec pack add/includes the codecs needed to play everything.

I apologize for my ignorance.  I thought it would be easy to refer you to a 
useful software.  Boy!  was I ever wrong.  :-))
