I don't remember installing it. I think the tech at the shop did it last
time he had my computer in for repairs. Actually the Windows Media Player
seems to be the default player and it will play that one movie. I was just
trying anything and everything I had installed to see if it would play. I
am now waiting on Don for the free one that "does everything but wash the
dishes" (or was it wash the windows?) Either way it sounds like what I
need.
I tried doing an upgrade of WMP and it seemed to just put vers. 10 back on,
which I already had. And it took hours and hours to do that too. I toyed
with the idea of uninstalling WMP and reinstalling but there were so many
references to it in the add/remove programs that I got cold feet.
