If the purchase is approved, I wouldn't be surprised if News Corp. is
renamed to Dow Jones & Company, and the new business channel will likey be
called the "Wall Street Journal Channel."

This was a business that DJ once owned around the world.  FT/Pearson hit
them on the outland front, Investor's Business Daily got them with the
quants and small investors, and they came late to try to buy FNN.

Their editorial product is first-rate.  I don't want that to change.

The deal has been approved by the board. It is now being presented to 
the family. There are strong indications that they will agree to the 
deal. We should know soon. The WSJ brand will provide Murdoch with a 
great platform to launch its new business network - this could 
provide real growth for a successful, but non-growth business...
