[macvoiceover] Re: Urgent help needed - getting VO to speak when booting from USB flash drive?

Well, to let you all know what the Apple guy figured out… for some reason, the
headphone jack in the back of my iMac isn't releasing the port when it's
unplugged, so, the computer still thinks the headphones are plugged in. He had
me plug and unplug the headphones quickly to see if it would release, and, for
a millisecond it did, but quickly quit again. Not sure what to do from here…
not a big enough deal to take my iMac in to the Apple store for, as it works
fine everywhere but in the recovery partition and on a boot disk, and, I don't
need to go there too often. The tech guy did find it extremely odd that this
would only happen in the recovery partition and boot disk, but no where else.

Thanks to everyone for your help with this!
