Hi Russel,

I'm happy that IMAP is working out well for you.  Having things saved to the 
cloud makes certain tasks so much easier.  If not easier then, a little more 
worry free. :).  I have one more suggestion.  With your headphones on, when in 
the recovery partition or, booting to a thumb drive /SD card, press VO command 
left or right arrow until you get to volume.  Now, unplug your headphones, and 
press VO command up arrow and see if that raises the volume on your iMacs 
speakers.  At least, I seem to remember you using an iMac?

Any who, haha, that should raise the volume on your built in speakers.
