Hi Ricardo,

I tried the Fn key with command F5, but no go. I now tried turning up the
volume, but that didn't work either. Ricardo, have you had luck with getting
VO to speak when booting from a thumb drive or SD card? The strange thing is,
I can't even get VO to speak when booting to the ML recovery partition... is VO
available at the ML recovery partition, as far as you know? Wow, one of the
things I loved about my Mac over a Windows machine was the ability to
re-install the OS independently, but, it seems that functionality may not be
available anymore!

Thanks Ricardo!

Russell
