Hi Everyone,
So I purchased the bowers and wilkin's Z2 today, and when it's doced to my
iPhone 5 it works great.
Here's the tricky part, even though the device is air play capable, I can't
seem to get the airplay to function. I downloaded the control app from bowers
and wilkins as instructed, but can't get my speaker to see my wireless network.
I had a sighted friend read me the instructions that came in the box, and the
instructions simply tell us to download the app and follow the on screen
instructions. There was no other documentation of any kind.
When we downloaded the ap, the ap just said "searching for devices," and then
couldn't find the speaker. I tried this on my mac and my IOS devices, all with
the same result.
My Dad recently got the same product, and said it was very easy to set up, keep
in mind, he's sighted and knows technology. So I'm not sure if it's because
the app's inaccessible, or what else I might try, but was wondering if any of
you had any tips and tricks?
I'm hoping to get a friend to help me at the weekend, but would love your
thoughts in the mean time.
Thanks
Olivia
