I do not have to say I hope you are right Gary, I KNOW you are right..but for very much different reason.. anyway, you said, It is not a phenomenological language issue at all; it is the simple fact that "new" has more than one dictionary denotation." I really was impressed with that phenomenal language lol. But so does the word "rise" have more than one dictionary meaning... It surp rise d even me.... heres a sample. 2 : to return from death as the egyptians took the sunrise to mean. 5 chiefly British : to end a session : ADJOURN 9 a : to become heartened or elated <his spirits rose> b : to increase in fervor or intensity <my anger rose as I thought about the insult> 10 a : to attain a higher level or rank <officers who rose from the ranks> b : to increase in quantity or number 11 a : to take place : HAPPEN b : to come into being : ORIGINATE 12 : to follow as a consequence : RESULT 13 : to exert oneself to meet a challenge <rise to the occasion> 14 : the distance or elevation of one point above another 15 a : an increase especially in amount, number, or volume b chiefly British : RAISE 3b c : an increase in price, value, rate, or sum <a rise in the cost of living> 16 : an angry reaction <got a rise out of him 17 : the distance from the crotch to the waistline on pants Eccleasr.1 5The sun riseth, and goeth down, and returneth to his place: and there rising again, 6Maketh his round by the south, and turneth again to the north: the spirit goeth forward surveying all places round about, and returneth to his circuits. DR 5The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. 6The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. KJV 5oritur sol et occidit et ad locum suum revertitur ibique renascens 6gyrat per meridiem et flectitur ad aquilonem lustrans universa circuitu pergit spiritus et in circulos suos regreditur vulgate. But, you are comparing apples to oranges, don't you think? That the sun does rise is a proper geocentric term taken literally. That the moon is "new" each month is also a proper geocentric term taken literally. I make this statement due to the sense of the use of the word "new". Here in the states it is a common thing to say one has a "new" car. Now that car may be a 1992 clunker, but if it's something that person just purchased, then it is still called "new". It is understood that the car is not really "new" by the parties involved. Likewise, you seem to only be allowing Jack one definition for the word "new" here. The moon is new each month. That doesn't mean God created it brand spanking "new" at that time. It is not a phenomenological language issue at all; it is the simple fact that "new" has more than one dictionary denotation.
