How about an example of what should be in the sig file, I used to include my
email address but removed it since it generated additional spam and other
unwanted emails. I also used to include my phone number and fax number but
that generated unwanted phone calls and faxes.
I think it would be nice to know if a post is from a young inexperienced
tech or from an old fart like myself so I include "Since 1972" in my sig
file.

Bob,
It would be nice if the senior Members could take a little
responsibility to help do this kind of thing. The moderators are in a
darned if you do and darned if you don't situation when enforcing the
guidelines. The members created the rules not the staff, but we are left to
try and enforce them.
