Maybe this explains why a customer brought in 2 satellite Receivers that had
blown apart the MOVs, and the fuse. But,...he said his TVs were still
working OK. One of his TVs was a Sony 32 inch, that I repaired not long ago.
Customer lives up in the mountains,....and uses a Solar generating system,
and also a Honda generator system. He switches between the 2 systems. He
said he had applied 220 Volts by mistake.
