The Jews did not kill Jesus at all, the Romans did.

The Roman church hasn't said that the Jews were responsible, that can be
verified.  There were some members of the church that wrongly said so, but
it wasn't and isn't a teaching of the Catholic church, either the Roman
Rite or the Eastern Rites.
