Sue et al;

I am neither a dealer or customer, however I believe that a base price
should be available with the addendum that prices are subject to change and
do not include the cost of installation or delivery. I understand that each
instalation is unique -- however the price of the unit itself should be
readily available. When I sold Wurlitzers -- the price was posted and
didn't include taxes or delivery -- benches were included as was a large box
of music. The prices were available from many different sources -- in fact
I used to have a little pamphlet that listed every instrument in every
finish with the MSRP. Just the price of the unit -- dealer extras were
quoted at the time the sale was closed.

Just my .02 worth.

dealer. As a matter of fact Noel and I have worked together for several
years now.

believe me I dreaded it. The dealer has a price list that is from the
company--on this we have to base the price for each installation--all sales
consultants are not given this list but a list that is prepared by their
dealer. These prices do vary because of the different cost factors involved
in doing business.

customers right to ask but it is my responsibility as a dealer not to do
anything that would harm another dealership or the Rodgers name. This can be
handled in many ways but the customer can be given information in a way that
will build trust in their dealer.

information a sale can be damaged--such as insurance claims.

issues can be settled by contact with the local dealer.
