Justa reminder.....if you do any toning that involves bleaching and toning
like the normal sepia methods it is recommended that you fix and harden the
prints afterwards.

I use to rinse my prints thoroughly immediately after toning with at least 5 changes of water before putting them in the washer. I can't see much happening in the washer after that. But I have never tried a stop bath so I don't know if that is more effective.
However, as the toner gets older during the session, the more yellowish the colour gets.

It would be best to place the print in a stop bath of sodium sulfite after toning as it will continue to tone as it washes.
You could also use a strong bath of HCA.
This holds true for Kodak Brown Toner as well.
