It's wonderful, David. This arrived one minute before hearing that a
special (though not intimate) friend had finally succumbed to her
cancer. She was a poet. I wonder what poems she dreamed the last few

I was once given an opiate, following surgery. Hated it. No vast
pleasure dome swum into view; I didn't even conjure a pleasure garden
shed!
One can only hope your friend had a better experience.
