Yeah - I like the progress announcement on downloads as well as webpages
myself. this was a nice addition to ver 6 I think.

The file download is a dialog box written into either Internet Explorer or
the Windows code. You can't turn that off. I like to know when it's done
anyway. Plus, it's fun to talk back to your computer while it's going on.
Cheap entertainment value.
