Yes, that's right, ELF is weird - but it looks like we are using it :-)
I don't object anybody to use the _EXPORT define, but I don't think it
should be a requirement right now. If there is the need to support
anything other than ELF (and this doesn't share this weird thing), we
still can change it with some effort - but I persona´lly don't think it
will be needed ever.
