Sheboygan had hundreds of Ring-billed Gulls and Herring Gulls plus 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (3rd and 1st yr). On the way over an Osprey was carrying a fish at the junction of Hwys 41 and 151 in Fond du Lac. Cleveland had hundreds of standard gulls. Manitowoc, north of the impoundment on the piers, had many Bonaparte's Gulls, plus one Little Gull (1st yr) plus the usual gulls. 13 Greater Scaup and the 1 Redhead were near the first pier. The number of scaup is slowly increasing, as 9 were present in June when the Western Grebe was there. Also present were about 20 Common Terns (only terns seen along the lake except for the lone Caspian at Kewaunee). White Pelicans were seen at almost every lake stop today. And last a Mockingbird was seen along Hwy 23 in western Sheboygan county (it was near Plymouth).
