I checked the Lake Michigan area from Harrington Beach SP to Algoma today.
Things were relatively quiet although there were a few nice finds. At
Harrington Beach fly by RED-NECKED GREBE and male White-winged Scoter were the
best. The first was heading north while the second was going the reverse
direction. Both were in quite close. Standard diving ducks were also present.
Kohler SP was very quiet!

Sheboygan had several nice birds including a White-winged Scoter (male) on the
river, also a Thayer's Gull and an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL. By North Pt
a Surf Scoter (female) and a pair of BLACK SCOTERS were out on the lake.

Point Beach SF had 2 Glaucous, 1 Iceland and 1 Great Black-backed Gull plus
some Long-tailed Ducks. The latter were also at other lake spots.

Kewaunee harbor had 10 White-winged Scoters, 1 male Ruddy Duck and a Coot, plus
the 2 standard gulls and diving ducks.

Algoma was "dead".

Green Bay had cormorants and White Pelicans out on the bay. The Peregrine
Falcon was sitting in its nest box (as was the one at Manitowoc).

Cap birds were FOY.
