Hello Bodi ... I am sincerely sorry that someone on this forum would ridicule you for asking ANY question! I have been a member of this forum for MANY years and have seen people ask questions of every sort. There are NO silly questions, and I would ask that you give the REAL members of this forum another chance to assist you! I am not near as active on the forum as I once was, but do try to stick my nose in when possible. Many members have helped many other people with questions from a brand new user to much more technical problems ... and I have never seen a put down of anyone. Of course I could have missed something ... I can't spend a lot of time on here because I have my own computer repair shop and I'm very busy at that as well. I am NOT the moderator of this forum ... just a member like yourself. Please do not be afraid to post your questions or answers ... I'm sure there are very few on here that would do a childish thing like ridiculing you ... regardless of the question. Howard Subject: [triadtechtalk] Re: New Computer/ Win7 Upgrade Hello Brian; I have been following your quest in buyng a new computer with interest. It's the sort of thing I do and I get myself overly involved and it takes me way too long to make a decision. I am also not a technophile and I don't have the confidence that many of the people who offer their advice in this community have. A while back I was so scathingly ridiculed for a question I asked that I have not asked another. However, I have a question for you. You said you are waiting for the upgrade to Win 7. Was the upgrade part of the pkg price? Will your current set-up with this new computer support an upgrade easily? I read a comment that a Vista 64bit has some compatibility issues with Win 7. Here again I am timid in writing this bec I may be confused. Somehow I think you may be more understanding.
