Standifer Gap Marsh, Chattanooga, Hamilton Co. TN 17 April The large Virginia Rail contingent at Standifer Gap Marsh forced me to make a trip there on Saturday morning. I was not disappointed getting brief looks at 4 Virginias and hearing perhaps a dozen calling. A brief view of a Sora and a Greater Yellowlegs working a puddle at the back of the property were bonuses, as was meeting the Henrys fellow birders who were also enjoyed the activity. -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 330 10th Avenue North Nashville, TN 37221 USA =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
