[texbirds] Tuesday morning bird census, Hagerman NWR.

What a great morning of birding.  We saw lots of Bobolinks at quite a few 
different locations along Wildlife Dr. And their song announced their presence. 
We estimated at least 200 Bobolinks.  The two resident Bald Eagles were near 
the Harris Creek bridge.  We saw a flock of Yellow-headed Blackbirds at the 
large Willow just past Harris Creek.  We found 12 species of shorebirds and 
they were there in large numbers spread out along the Mudflats.  We saw two 
Wood Ducks at Dead Woman Pond.  We found a Swainson's Hawk on the west side of 
the refuge. We had a Warbling Vireo at headquarters just as we were starting 
our count. We finished the day with 93 species.
