[texbirds] Tuesday morning bird census, Hagerman NWR

We found 92 species today.  That is quite good for mid-March.  The best 
sighting of the day was probably a very early Scissor-tailed Flycatcher on 
Short Rd.  It was a good woodpecker day with 6 species of Woodpeckers including 
a Hairy Woodpecker and a Red-shafted Northern Flicker. There were at least 4000 
Cormorants, possibly more. We saw 132 American Pipits.  We also saw 10 species 
of ducks and 14 species of sparrows.
